Sacramental Preparation for Confirmation & First Eucharist

Baptized children in Grade 2 or above are invited to participate in a fun, age appropriate program designed to not only prepare children for the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist, but also to fully integrate them into the life of the Church and parish community.

The order goes as follows:

1. Baptism

2. Confirmation

3. Eucharist

Baptized children preparing for First Eucharist also prepare for Confirmation and the two sacraments are celebrated at the same liturgy.

Our Programs

For Children

Sacramental Preparation for children will run in in 3 groups. Two groups will meet on alternating Sundays and the third will meet via Zoom after school on every other Tuesday. The Tuesday Zoom class will also function as the make-up session if a student misses a Sunday. If registration numbers grow, an additional group will meet in person after school on the alternate Tuesdays. Please download the registration form below and read the accompanying letter carefully. These sessions will begin in September and run throughout winter. Please complete the registration form and return it before Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Late registrations can not be accepted. 

There will be two Parent Meetings – parents must attend one

For Youth & Adults Who Want to Celebrate Confirmation Only

Individuals, both youth and adults, who have come into the diocese from other areas where Confirmation is still celebrated several years after First Eucharist are invited to prepare for Confirmation through a special renewal program which emphasizes the unity of the three Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. A program schedule will be created as needed.

For Teens, there will be two Parent Meetings – parents must attend one:
