The 2022 Border Delegation to Arizona/Mexico departs Sunday to experience the complexities of immigration in the borderlands. The group is under the leadership of the School Sisters of Notre Dame who minister from Douglas, AZ. The delegation will visit various migrant shelters in Arizona and Mexico, including KINO, a Jesuit ministry that provides humanitarian aid: food, shelter, clothing, medical care. They will meet with the Green Valley Samaritans, a member of the Border Patrol, as well as plant a cross in a desert where a migrant died. There is time for prayer and reflection each day.
