Dear Faithful,

Each year Pope Francis invites the entire Church to support the work and service of priests, religious and lay leaders who serve the world’s most vulnerable communities. Our mission as disciples is to live and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  This annual collection unites our local Church of Eastern Washington with all Catholics in the world. As one community of faith we are asked to generously assist the universal Church in her outreach to those most in need.

The World Mission Collection will take place in your parish on the weekend of March 27 and 28. For your convenience, I have included an envelope addressed to the Catholic Diocese of Spokane; you may place it in the collection basket on the weekend of March 27 and 28 or mail it to the Diocese. Please make all checks payable to the Catholic Diocese of Spokane. You can also make your gift online at dioceseofspokane.org/wmc.

Remember that every gift is important – at any level.

Thank you for your prayerful and generous consideration.

In Christ,

Most Reverend Thomas A. Daly

Bishop of Spokane

"Stitching Love, Weaving Hope: "Quilters with a Cause"

St. Al’s Best-Kept Secret

Monday mornings: 7:30 a.m. -11:00 a.m

St. Al’s quilters enthusiastically get together in O’Malley Hall and produce two finished quilts a week.
These quilts are donated to charities, schools, and community centers. If you want to help iron, cut, sew, pin, etc. (no experience necessary), come down to O’Malley Hall.
