Furniture, welcome baskets for Gonzaga Family Haven

As a parish community, we welcome the families who will become our neighbors at Gonzaga Family Haven. At the beginning of September, the first 24 families will move into their apartments. We, as a parish are invited to provide items so families can set up housekeeping. On June 6, the bulletin, website and social media platforms will provide details on how you can assist with the Furniture Drive and the Welcome Baskets. Watch for details!

Catholic Charities of Eastern Washington, Gonzaga University, Gonzaga Prep along with a host of other groups, including St. Aloysius Parish, have joined together in a project to provide
housing for families who have experienced homelessness. The 72 family apartments will be a permanent supportive housing complex where families can stabilize their lives through on-site case management and community events. The Haven is located on the corner of North Foothills Drive and Nevada Street in the Logan Neighborhood. The first phase is scheduled to open in September.

St. Aloysius Parishioners will be invited to participate in a Furniture
Drive and provide for Welcome Baskets for residents of Gonzaga Haven. Details will be
forthcoming.
