Altar Society
The Altar Society meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month. We begin with a devotional at 11:30 a.m. in O’Malley Hall below the church followed by a sack lunch and meeting. Speakers are provided at some of our meetings as well as social time. All are invited. The Altar Society in St. Aloysius Parish was formed the first year that St. Aloysius was in existence.
We are a community
The Altar Society works behind the scenes to make things happen at St. Aloysius such as:
- • Funeral receptions for families and friends who need us in their time of grief. Can you give a few hours to help us host a funeral reception once or twice a year? We welcome any parish members to help us with these events.
- • Bake sales, Card Parties, and Cookbooks that pay for little things like hosts, wine, altar cloths, etc. and BIG things like a new refrigerator in O’Malley Hall, stained glass windows, priests' chasubles, etc.
Centennial Cookbook
We have published a Centennial Cookbook with recipes from the past and present. It is fun and entertaining, with over 100 recipes, stories, and photos (For only $5.00). You may purchase one by calling Mary Kay at 509-487-4632.
Donate
Could you give a $5 yearly donation to the Altar Society or bake for a bake sale to support these most needed and basic necessities of our parish life?
